So far fairly good info has been passed. Fountain is cheaper for rent but you get what you pay for and I would not want to have a family down there. Head N. like already mentioned you can find houses for rent for around 1K or more depending on what you want. THe Springs is fairly cheap not as cheap as some but cheaper than most.

Moving
We are moving there in early May and we are getting a house in southern Colorado Springs. We are building so it is a new area. With a good market right now it might not be a bad idea to look into.

I just finaled out of Ft Hood. Yup, I have my green stamp and no longer belong to the "great place". We should be comming up soon on a house hunting trip and it would be nice to meet up with someone to show us around.

So I just got to Colorado Springs and am racking out for the night. Tomorrow I will explore a little after church. Monday is apartment day, any suggestions on area? I know I said I was buying, but that has changed.
Things I need to know:
Good apartments / rentals
Safest area near Carson (Butts airfield)
Best utilities provider
Cable or satellite?
Look foreward to seeing yall on the trail!

So, I have been in Colorado Springs for a few weeks so far and I haven't seen anyone from JK-Forum. Most of the Jeepers I have been riding with have been from MJ, but I'm keeping an eye open. One thing I have noticed about this place is that no one waves back. Everyone seems to bee caught up in their own little world like they're robots or something. What's up Colorado? Chillax and enjoy your life!
