I just found out that a good friend of mine, Lance Corporal Phillip Moreno, passed away. He had just finished his enlistment after serving two tours in Afghanistan. He had been home for about a month, and started school. Phillip suffered from PTSD, for which he was prescribed medication. He had a rough time adjusting to civilian life, he had nightmares, flashbacks, and overall couldn't sleep most of the time. He overdosed on his medication on Friday night, February 3rd, and while a friend of his was driving him to the hospital, they were involved in a crash. Phillip Moreno, of Albuquerque, New Mexico was pronounced dead at the scene. Nobody is sure if he died from the overdose, or from the crash itself.

This stuff always seems to happen to the best people out there. From one service member to another, rest in peace brother.
