Just figured I'd share some pics from the Canoe trip I took last weekend. It was a short 3 day return trip up the Bird River in eastern Manitoba.

Nice pic's, I love paddling. I'm supposed to be canoeing this weekend with Scouts. We were headed to the Illinois River near Talequah, OK. Beautiful place to canoe, and we were to camp on property that belongs to the Scenic Rivers Commissioner. If you've seen the remake of "Where the Red Fern Grows", that's the property. However, Ed Fite (property owner) called and the heavy rains have caused flooding on the property and contamination of the river. Maybe in August. Meanwhile, we're heading out this morning to go climb a couple peaks in the Wichita Mountains.
