I love to fish. I grew up in Ohio fishing for bucket mouths and walleye. We used to take trips to Canada for eyes and northern every year.

I live in SW PA now and the lakes here are pretty blah as far as bass go. I've become a river fisherman. I wade for smallies all the time now. I'm thinking of grabbing a canoe to cover more water, but I really enjoy wet wading for the smallies. Even if it means less coverage and less fish in the same amount of time.

I love to fish saltwater. I spent a few days surf fishing VA Beach in July. I like to target shark, got a few in the 3' range.

I'm heading to 4wd section of the Outer Banks next month for a week of chasing shark, drum and whatever else will hit from the surf. I hear October is the best fishing month of the year in the OBX.

Living in Florida you would be nuts not to take advantage of all the typres of fishing available.

Lakes/Rivers Freshwater

Inshore Saltwater

Offshore Salt water

Why be restricted to one type when they are all wonderful.

I get out sometimes...Now that I'm land locked here in Utah I have to share a Tuna shot and a YT photo..While I was working in Southern California I had a slight addiction to Long Range fishing...The American Angler was my favorite ride.

I love being retired and fishing over 50 times a year here in Gods country, but I have to say I still long for a screaming reel every now then.

I'm lucky enough to live in south Louisiana. I've got any kind of fishing I want within a 30 minute ride right from my house. Do yourselves a favor, folks: If you like fishing, come down to New Orleans and book a trip out of Lafitte or Venice. You won't need to pack anything if you don't feel like hauling stuff down here, the guides will have it all for you. And you will be able to catch redfish, trout, flounder, sheepshead, largemouth bass...man, the list goes on and on. Plus, you can go fishing for a day and then hang out in N.O. for a day so it doesn't have to be all about the fishing (a bonus for your girl and a possible selling point for the trip...just sayin'!)

Here's me with a small sheepshead I caught in Lake Ponchartrain. He wasn't big but he was tasty!
