Nope. My 13' kayak is an inflatable and therefore you will never see it on top. I went that way to avoid the obvious need for a rack or possibly damaging the top or other things. Plus this way I can keep the kayak in the Jeep when hitting the mountains or cruising around looking for a lake or river.

It is the sportscage rack for the TJ. I turned the brackets around so the grab from the inside so they don't obstruct the doors. it works great, very secure.

Default Yakima Raingutter Setup

Below is my setup with the Yakima Raingutter system. It handles my Tarpon 140 and 120 just fine. These picture are from my recent camping trip. No problems at 70 mph speeds for 300 miles of interstate. The nice thing about this system is that I can easily remove the rack when not in use.

Default finished kayak trailer.

Here are a couple of pics of the kayak trailer I just finished putting together. Still have to paint it but will probably wait until the off season.

Here's my two-door with my 13ft Kayaks. This is with the top off, I do it with the top on as well but I add a quilt over the roof. I simply tie the kayaks together, than to the hood for the front, and the spare tire for the back.

Cool Just got them

We just set this up there to see how cool it would look
Still need to figure out a good mount situation so we can take it with us on the trails.
