Is that a Warrior rack?

 

Im a white water kayaker and i just toss mine in the back. It does hang out the rear window a lil bit. Ill get pics next time im out with it.

 

Sorry for the late reply, yes it is. have added the Warrior LED corners also. The corners to stiffen the tub at the mounting points.

 

so another question i have the cargo master on order its been over 3 weeks since i ordered it and they are saying its going to be another 4 week before they even start to ship and it might be even longer before i see it ... ( originally it was going to be 2 -3 days ! )

anyways to my question this weekend for Canada day we are going camping at a few different places. Our drive is about 5 hours on the longest leg, Is their anyway to strap 2 kayaks on top with the soft top ON and up ???

my wife does not want to drive that long with no top on or off with kayaks strapped to the soft top or roll bars, and at night their is too many bugs . and its cold and well she likes to complain! lol

I called kargo master normally they dont like to deal with single sales and would rather deal with companies but they told me that about 2 months ago they did have a back order issue but everything is caught up and their should be No back orders anywhere in the US or Canada ! They can ship one out to me tomorrow but wont get it till mid week next week. Thats great but was hoping to use it for this weekend .

so any suggestions would be great !

well you cant "should have done something else" it's too late now, but a friend of mine ordered and got a cargo master rack from quadra tech within a week or two, so someone had some in stock....

Here is my home made rack. Fabricated a bar for the front. I use a foam block when carrying the yaks. I fabricated a square hoop that fits in the receiver hitch and allows the tail gate to open. I secure the hoop with ratchet straps. The set up is very secure.
