Its a 2001 Monterey 2400 Deckboat. It is 24' and weighs in around 5500lbs with a full tank. The Jeep can pull it but trailer brakes are a must. I also can't go above 50mph with it.

A 20' bowrider should not be an issue. I can tow my brother's 19' bowrider down the interstate no problem.

Sweet!! That makes me happy. Ive been scared to try so ive been using my pickup this summer. at 7mpg in my truck its time to try the jk.

Thats with a towing package. What is the capacity with out that package? I just picked up a 2011 sport unlimited and it has no towing package and am I crazy in thinking I can tow a 20' Stratos bass boat 100 miles or more? :rotflma o2:

then hopefully a 21' Stratos bass boat might be ok?
