Its a 2001 Monterey 2400 Deckboat. It is 24' and weighs in around 5500lbs with a full tank. The Jeep can pull it but trailer brakes are a must. I also can't go above 50mph with it.

A 20' bowrider should not be an issue. I can tow my brother's 19' bowrider down the interstate no problem.

Thats with a towing package. What is the capacity with out that package? I just picked up a 2011 sport unlimited and it has no towing package and am I crazy in thinking I can tow a 20' Stratos bass boat 100 miles or more?
