Default Show your tent

I have seen many camper posts, but lets show off our tents. I am heading out next weekend for the first time this season, I will take a pic then. Lets hope this German weather holds up, and lets hope more I can find some trails around Baumholder.

Not the best pictures in the world, but mine is the little green Nemo Esprit. Love that tent, quite a bit of room in there for a 1 person tent.

BAUMHOLDER!! I used to live at Hahn, about an hour from there, through Idar Oberstein. In the 10th grade(1993-1994) I rode a bus an hour to Baumholder HS.

It's a Vaude, which by the way is a German brand. One half contains the inner tent where we sleep. The other half can be used by the dog, or to store motorcycle bags and clothes, or to cook in when it rains.

I have three different tents for different uses:

First is my REI Quarter dome, which I use for backpacking:

Second is my Nemo Losi 3P, which I use for motorcycle camping:

Third is my REI Hobitat 4, which I use for car camping:

And when I don't want to tent camp, I take my T@B trailer (shown with my previous JKU):

It is about 40 min north west fo Ramstein, and about an hour South west of Wiesbaden. It is the closests MWR spot to us, and my wife is not a huge fan of the German Campsites, for a few reasons.
