Default 2015 Wheeling Season

Well the bad news is Bald mountain will close in a few days (they need to let the non-existent snow pack melt off). The good news is that means we are getting closer to the real trails opening back up. The first trail to open will be Red Lake on April 15[SUP]th[/SUP].

I was hoping to breath new life into CenCal this year. We have been AWOL for the last year or so building my Ultra4 car. Looking forward to the trails again now that it’s done. I’m curious how many peeps here are up for joining us this year?

Updated to match the 2015 MVUM that should be released shortly. Thanks Ed for pointing that out.

If you have not seen all our local trails have to offer there are some great pics of a run we did back in 2012 here. Photo credit to another member

Ok this is Jeremy.

As you already know, I'm down for a good amount of wheeling. Dusy is for sure on the list this year.

Red and West open 6-15, not 4-15. All trails except Bald close November first.

Look at the Dusy Ershim opening date. These dates started with travel management about 4 years ago, before that they opened when conditions allowed. You know the government, if anything is being done that makes sense, they have to put a stop to that at once.

I hear you. Gubmint...surprise, surprise.

It's definitely on the to-do list though. I hear you're the guy to follow on this one so I'll be on the look out when you guys get some runs planned.

I have not seen a MVUM update since 2013 do you have something newer?

What i usually look at is here http://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_...rdb5393414.pdf

It has Red and West with the above dates.

Had a pretty good turnout today for the Last Chance Canyon run. Its a easy trail but a nice one. This was the Porterville Sequoia Sidewinders run.
