Default Cen-Cal Handgun Talk

Who all in Cen-Cal owns, carries, enjoys shooting? I've got a Glock 23. Hoping to start up on some CCW Classes after September. Moving out of Tulare County and into Fresno, so no reason to get started now, when the process takes more than two months.

You think I could get one in less than two months? I heard it took like 6 or 7?

From California Concealed Carry
Do you go camping or recreate in uninhabited areas? You, and your frail wife and small kids and/or grandkids, often travel through desolate areas to reach even more remote areas. You fear death or great bodily injury from those that might victimize you if you became stranded. Emphasize the dangers while traveling in remote areas, not your security while camping. California law already allows you to carry concealed at most campsites without a CCW.

Did you take your classes already?
I'm looking at taking some at The Range in Fresno.

Yes I've done it twice now and just never turned in the paper work I did mine at Visalia Sportsmans ass. The range membership is $55.00 a year and you get the class for free

Called into the Sheriffs dept. about ccw's because I don't currently have any utility bills to verify my place of residence. They told me it would be really hard to get a ccw without one. looks like ill be waiting until we get married in a few months.
