I have read from a credible source that the trails will be opening soon. Work has in fact already begun, clearing trees and moving toilets and general clean up. Local area folks are scouting and have announced prelim dates. I will do my best to keep us informed.

Red Mountain O.H.V area is all open! Open trails in this area now include Coyote Lake, West Lake, Mirror Lake, Strawberry Lake, and Red Lake.

Dusy Trail is OPEN.

Swamp Lake Trail is OPEN

Spanish Route is OPEN

Brewer Lake Trail is OPEN

Swamp Lake maybe? Every trail should be opening up. Maintenance is being done as we speak! Swamp and Dusy will be the last to be cleared as they are higher up and further into the mountains. Coyote by this weekend. But it will be packed with people. I'll still be going up though.

 

I'll either drive that thing over the rocks or drag it, that's what the winch is for right.

 

yeah, swamp is what i was hoping to run. i hear you on the crowds though - it's gonna be bad with the wheeling season up in shaver lake being so short this year.
