Mirror Lake is open!!!!!

 

Just got back from my 3 day camping/wheeling trip to Strawberry Lake. My buddies and I were the second group into Strawberry. We also started in on Mirror Lake for fun and stopped right before the decent into the lake due to lack of equipped vehicles. We only had one Jeep casualty on the trip. My buddy's 1990 TJ suffered a busted rear driveshaft. It broke at the transfer case (The yoke I think ) We got him off the mountain the next day in front wheel drive. Thanks for the up date Dom! That hill on Mirror is pretty intimidating. Was there a lot of smoke haze?

 

Noticed a little haze yesterday. The sun and Mosquitos were out in full force. We went through 2 full cans of 40% deet Off.
