As of now those dates look fine for me. I know the younger guys in the group myself, andrew, bry etc would like to go party in tremblant on the saturday night if possible you old guys can come too if you can keep up either stay in tremblant or at rodneys cabin if he comes up as well.

I wont be doing any wheeling on the sunday since its a bit of a drive back home and need to be back to get ready for the next week. Would probably come up friday night, crash somewhere then just wheel saturday.

That seems to be happening everywhere. :( Concession lake used to be a 2, now it's a 3+. Even the dirtbike guys are complaining about trails all getting hogged out.

cause this is a "mandatory 35's+, lockers front and rear, and winch run."

I dont have lockers or a winch :( Hopefully next year... but I just bought a house, so money is now a lot tighter than it was.

Hey guys, how far is this place from Mississauga? I'll be up there for about a month between Thanksgiving and Christmas...

i dont think that really matters....i cant see this being harder than the rubicon, and we had people without lockers etc. i wouldnt worry about it too much.

agreed. a good driver with a few buddies could do this run on 33s i bet. then again i bang my rig all over the rocks . damage will probably occur but damage can occur to anyone and bad breakage is more likely to occur on the built up rigs running larger tires that are locked and not properly reinforced at the front axel. check your ujoints and bring a spare boys.... dave will change it for you.

Great to see some interest in this run folks.

The plan is to spend the evening in Tremblant, so by all means you young guys can show us how it's done.

Dave etc. if you need a place to crash on friday night, just let me know.

As for the mandatory lockers comment, it is going to be a long hard day of trails. The pictures don't do it justice, but they are going to be tricky even with lockers (and especially if it's wet). Granted, I have not run the Rubicon (yet!), but I do know Chertsey. The trails I have planned to run will be difficult with many mud/steep incline/rock obstacles all thrown in. Apologies if that excludes folks, but there is the option to run Weir the next day for those who wish.

Of course, after a mandatory night partying in Tremblant!

Let me know who's in for either or both days and I'll get a list going.

Im in, and I might be bringing my brother as a TB.
Looking forward to it.
Simon, are you thinking of getting a group reservation then having each call later with credit card info or each person making the reservations themselves. Either way if fine with me, I'll just need the information to make the call.
