I thought it was amusing to watch. It was definitely being over hyped throughout, considering most of the time, nothing they were doing was on the edge of death lol. I liked the little intro where you saw Moby Dick doing rock crawling, was kinda upset there wasn't more of that in the show.

The JK's definitely performed very well, as did the Brute. The Disco looked like he needed a few more mods to keep up, but did ok based on what he had.

Overall, it was not bad, cool to see some JK love on tv.

I agree that the impending doom theme was a bit much... and the death by a winch line snapping when it was a synthetic was good for a giggle.. Anyway I did PVR it and will most likely watch it again..

I caught that too and yelled at the tv.... "its a synthetic line"

Seemed a little 'tame' but still a neat program.

I also laughed out loud at their 'deep river crossing' that barely came up to the top of the tires....LMAO

The one guy on there reminded me of Dion.

The narrow road with steep drop off got me wondering That road was really wide!!!

I am sure 99% of Jeepers have come across narrower and steeper drop-off's than they showed but they hyped it up pretty good....like most TV shows will. Granted it had snow and ice...but the driving surface was angled towards the hillside and they were not travelling uphill on this section.

Overall, I enjoyed the show and hope there will be more shows like this showing some great 4wd trails to tour around North America!

Well, Dave, Jord and I are going to watch the show again on Sunday night. I have a sneaking suspicion that there will be a few more giggles.

But in all fairness I know that the show is more for people who do not do what we do everyday. So there is going to be artistic licence for the producers to make it more appealing to couch taters.

I am sure that Dave Harriton put his head down in his hand and shook it side to side slowly with a bit of humored embarrassment.
