Default Border crossing

Hey Guys...I'm moving up to Ontario in the next few weeks and will be bringing my Rubicon...I have heard that if it's been modified they may not let it across?! Anything I should know prior to making the crossing? Initially I will be quote,"on Vacation in Canada" but will be following up with the work visa. Already have employment and don't plan on leaving with the Jeep once it's in. Heading to the Lake Balsam / Muskoka area.... Help?

U will be fine coming across. I have been going back and foward for years with mods on my jeeps.
The only problem u might have is if u want to plate it in Canada u will have to have an out of country inspection. So just keep it plated and insured in ur home state.

Probably in the Fenelon Falls, Bobcageon, Kawartha Lakes area...I'll be up on Lake Muskoka in a Cottage for a while untill I find a place closer to where I'll be working.

beautiful wheeling area. Thought we could wheel sometime depending where you moved to in Ontario. That area your going to is about a 7 hour drive for me.
