Lucky man My grille is too near the winch plate, that's why I have to remove the winch if I want to remove the grille

fog lights point down not straight. they do not point in other car driver's eyes. i never drive at night with my fog lights off. i can see the road better, never had a problem, and never was blinded by a jeep with fogs on while in a jetta.

I was in the Home Depot's parking, and a guy made a u-turn and started to yell at me
He said to close my (stock) fog lights because he couldn't see anything and also, it's dangerous. He told me that using fog lights without fog is illegal, and the next time he will call the cops.
WTF? Is it true that using fog lights without fog is illegal?

Here in the US, most states have laws against running fog lights simultaneously with your high beams, and also against running more than 4 total white beams at a time (heads, fogs, spots).
That's about it.
He just sounds like a jerk.
I probably would have gotten out to talk to him.
Also, parking lots aren't roads.
You can turn on 100 lights if you want...and nothing can be done unless rules are posted otherwise.

thats funny, because the only reason i installed the windshield lights was to turn them on, on the fuckers who flash my STOCK lights that think they are too bright, i got so fed up that i did that... ALSO they are pointed AT the ground, more so then i would want them to...

As per some of our previous discussions, traffic laws are a local issue, either state or province.
First
In Ontario many (althought not all) traffic laws don't apply to parking lots.
Second
You are permitted four lit lamps on the front of the vehicle.
HTA 62(9) Strength of front lamps
(9) No motor vehicle shall carry on the front thereof more than four lighted lamps that project a beam having an intensity of over 300 candela. R.S.O. 1990, c. H.8, s. 62 (9).
So fogs and normal lights are fine.
The only white light permitted on the rear of the vehicle is the plate marker light, or reverse lamps.
None of which applies to offroad use however.
Cheers
