Had to save Dave today....A Bed Time Story..
A Bed time Story
Tonights Trail report
Well, I had just finished my din din and the phone rings..t'was Dave on the other end....all giggles and shits...asking me if I was "busy at that particular moment and time"....I responded "nope but why do you ask?.... alas"
His reply startled and shocked me.....he had gotten stuck in a snowbank in Richardson Stadium parking lot and required extraction.....
Rescue Ranger Rod...was on the case...out into the blizzard went.... he and his faithful sidekick Crystal..(armed with a camera
) I arrived to find Dave and two friends standing outside of a very stuck JK in large snowbank... high centered.
So out came Dave's brand new recovery strap...we attached it to my rig and the 1st pull was a success..
Everyone laughed and hugged and I went home.... Dave went home...... we all went home .......
and that's the end of the story..pics here...

except that that wasnt the end of the story........
just as dave was getting home he recieved a call from rod....all shits and giggles...."dave can you come get me....i'm stuck, i tried to get over the same bank you did" so sure enough dave had to drive back and use his new tow strap for the second time to rescue rod.
we both decided to give it one more attempt and both made it though the bank 2nd try.
then we all went home happy. THAT is the end of the story.....thanks again rod haha.

LOL....did we talk on the phone about this time? You didnt say anything or were you out of the shit by then.....
...now you owe Rod eh......not a good spot to be in.....LOL
Sure use any excuse to break out the new recovery gear.
