Default I just got clockspringed by the stealership

Took time off to go to Rose City Dodge in Welland to get my clock spring changed on recall. I have had the air bag light come on after about 10 mins of driving pretty regular. So I presumed in was the clock spring recall. I have had on going discussions about the tranny and 1rst gear popping out with no success . They know my Jeep is well modded. I am there waiting for them to do the job and the service manager comes and says its not the clock spring but has to do with the air bag. He can diagnose it for 89$ Ha ha like they don't all ready now what it is. Now I told them no I will check it myself with my super chips programer. Now I do have core beau Baja seats so may be a loose connection of the wires but to have the air bag light come on at regular interviews. I may have been black balled. Walking out I muddered about the useless warranty and all dealerships are stealerships and wished I could buy a Jeep without a warranty and save 5,000 off sticker because it is not worth the paper it is written on. Anyone the gets extended warranty is wasting there money unless they keep there Jeep stock.

Not to change topics but what did you do with your old seats? You may also want to try Dewilt Chrysler in Hamilton. A couple of the the guys in the service department are Jeep guys and the dealership is a sponser on the JeepKings board.

Been there, done that! I had an unfortunate experience at a dealership recently. Can't believe the crap they can get away with. Actually had the dealership owner tell me on the phone that his mechanics "don't fix parts, they only replace them". Money grab, that's all.

I would sooner give my local mech. or Jim at rockspyder4X4 the pleasure to work on my jeep then the dealership. Or put it this way I can only trust with my Jeep
