When my Colorado Jeep policy renewed with USAA - it included a notice that with the next renewal - in six months - the limit for custom equipment will be limited to $5,000.

I have had State Farm for ever. I have never had a problem. Sounds like the agent is weak. Check with another agent.

funny you mention this.....my state farm agent just told me last week that they wont cover me any longer also. I've been with them for 16 years and have a clean record. They found out about my mods after 'updating my file.' I told them about it since I didn't see it as a big deal. I was wrong.
I also have 3.5" lift and 37's.

Called belair direct for a quote and they refused to take me either. wtf

Call Universal Casualty Corporation. I had my Blazer with 13" of lift and 39.5's insured there and no problems and they have seen it many times. Worth a try if you're serious about getting insurance. I don't see what the insurance's big deal is with a little 3.5" of lift.

I've asked Geico and they said that as long as its street legal they have no reason to deny me coverage although my premiums went up a bit when I bought it.

Farmers is another company that sucks with claims processing.
