On the upside, the garage is coming along nicely, and I'm picking up the trailer on Thursday. Here's a (cell phone) picture of it being built. Still missing a few bits like the wheels and fridge.... :-)

Hey JS, what trailer is that? I was looking at a couple, that looks sweet!

Is there a link to a website or something?

I'm good for the 25th too ... still looking to camp in the area on that weekend so I need to know where the trail is to find the closest camping area. I'd even go for a good non-commercail spot if anybody knows one. We can go without services in our tent trailer setup.

Any problems with me not having front tow hooks on my very stock JK? I haven't gotten around to that mod yet.

Sweet! Can't wait!!

So is it just a day run? Or is there anybody planning on camping the night and doing another run on the 26th?

Just trying to plan my weekend, lol!

Great stuff. A lot of people camp up near the trails - in fact where we will air down is a popular camping area (there is even a toilet shack). I'm not back home yet (still in London) but when I do I will dig out directions / maps to the site. It is really easy to find. I have no idea of any commercial sites in the area, although I would imagine there must be some nearby.

These trails are stock-friendly runs. By that I mean that a stock vehicle will be able to get through the trail but might need a winch / strap once or twice. For example, there should be no problem getting through the Beer run, but you will need a pull at least once on Hailstorm and Anonymous (especially if it's wet). Having tow points front (and rear) will therefore be critical. Are there not tow hooks on the top of your bumper already? I thought they were on all models? I would also consider getting a rear tow point installed for the trail also - you just need a trailer hitch (without the ball). Then you'll be all set.
