That still seems upwards of good prices.....I've seen people selling the Mopar bumpers for $400.....

I personally like the aftermarket market items as there is a lot more variety and most items are built in a one or two person fab shop, built to order, so you know there is some personal craftsmanship in it, unlike Mopars production line.....

That being said, I have a Mopar bumper, and like it......but I'd be lieing if I said I wasn't looking at other alternatives to opening up the approach angles though.

If you like the stylings of that equipment and believe you are are getting a good deal through your research, then go for it definitely.....you build your Jeep to suit your needs, thats the great thing about it!!

For that price you could get a Shrockworks mid width bumper, it also comes with a front skid plate. The Mopar one is sweet as well, and I think they make it with fog light holes now. Here's a link you may want to check out.

And the Shrockworks site. I spent alot of time on this site when making my choice.

I'm really happy with my bumper as well. I think I made a good choice. LoD makes a stubby with fog light holes now. I like it. they didn't make it when I bought mine. Here's the link.

Have fun choosing

I can. The winch bumper I am fabbing is starting to get some weight to it. Hopefully I will have a grand unveiling at the overland run....

That warn thing is heavier than the Arb system.....geez......you'd need a spacer block in the front to compensate for the weight....wow.
