Shock leaking.
Haven't any complaints with stock, just want the bells and whistles!!! Lol. So I guess I will take your offer, I could drive out where you are just let me know, greatly appreciate it btw. Good people here!
Got to hate when work gets in the way of the jeep'ing forums
Anyways... Steve if you want give them to me on Sunday, and I'll get them to Tim.. They are like all of 5min away from my place.
Tim the problem that might have caused the shock to leak is because of the amount of travel you're trying to get out of them now that you're running the Rubi coils and 2" spacers. If you're wheeling, mudding, mall crawling and your suspension is constantly dropping out, the shocks over extend over and over again (they might be to short for the amount of lift) and as a result could and mostly was the reason for the leak. Another thing that can cause a shock to let go is the unsprung weight that they are having to deal with (i.e. Wheel and Tire package your running, aren't the easiest on factory shocks).
Going to an aftermarket shock in the long run is the way you want to go... You can get shocks for lifts that range between 2-4" of lift.. Zone, Sky Jacker, OME, Mild to wild... there are tones out there in the market. The nice thing is that the almost 99.99% of the after market shocks are direct bolt in, in place of the factory stuff.
