Well I also drive a tuner car but its not a honda so i don't get harrassed alot but when i do its a full on check. I've been pulled over a few time pop the they say right away and start pointing at things and asking why i have them what that its a Turbo why do u have that because I race at Cayuga on the weekends and then we start talking about cars and so on. Its all about how you handle them if your good to them most of the time there good to you when was even joking about my sparco steering wheel hes like if i try 2 beep ur horn and it doesn't work can i give u a ticket im like im if it does beep can i take ur cruizer around the block with the lights they laugh but still beep the horn. yes they can give me tickets for having no Catalitic or no air filter but its how you handle them i once had a cop pull me over tell me i had a licence plate light out grabbed all my stuff and came back with a ticket dropped it on my dash and took off no explanation no arguing nothing i took it to a 1st apperence meeting with proof that i replaced the bulb ant they dropped it right away

you can do the same thing with a mirror im sure ohh i had it relocated but it was knocked off yesturday officer go and show a bill of a "new" one and ticket dropped.

Trust me if i drive this car in Toronto im sure i can get away with driving without side mirrors

I had the doors off on the weekend and driving without mirrors is actually really harder than I thought especially driving down my skinny long driveway and parking was pretty much a guessing game i think i might just pick up the reloacting brackets if i take the doors off more often

there was an old pick-up broke down on highway 9 on saturday... the 400 was closed so there was an officer sitting right at the ramp... i offered to push the guy off the road and once i started the officer came over and politely asked ne to stop... too dangerous he said... so i obliged and went on my my way....

didnt say boo about no mirrors on my heep... but i still want to relocate them... reversing is a pain, and i feel safer when i can see everything

I just put the rugged ridge brackets on mine. They work well with the doors off. WIth the doors on, the passenger side mirror is half covered by the a-pillar, but you get used to it.

The cops are usally good! I had my doors off all last summer, and no problems, just had a cop check out my rig, and asked what i have done to it. The cop acually had a 96 Blazer done up. I found out later at a club meet, that in another local 4x4 club, they have a bumch of firemen in thiers.
I think they respect us, and know were not the speeding honda.

Looking at that post with the legislation, I would say that it would be perfectly legal to just have the rearview.

I'd love to take a cop to a traffic Commisioner with that one! LOL.

Cheers!
