Spring fling run

This is a Jeep JK event.
Location: Prince Edward County
Date: 29th March 08
Difficulty level: <1 more of a tour. Stock friendly
Damage probability Scratches, wet getting very wet.

Rendezvous point Carpool North of and next to 401 at exit # 522
ETA no later than 0900

Anticipated conditions: on road clear
: Off road wet very wet

High lights

Ultrimar gas station
Tim Hortons Trenton
Murry Canal @ Carring Place
Sandbanks provincial park pass by.
Wellington
Point Petre Light house
Point Petre provincial bird sanctuary/ Former WW2 training camp.
Point Petre off road excursions LOTS OF WATER. Nice veiws
Long point
Little bluffs
Lake on the mountain
Winery depending on if they are open
Black river cheese factory
Picton
Rednersville
Tim Hortons Trenton
Ultrimar
Smith Homestead to play in the mud something more challenging than the day held.


timings roughly: 1.5 hr trenton to point petre, 2 hours at point, 2 hours taking in county, 1.5 hour back to trenton, then 2 hours at 31 acres of some fun at Smith homestead

Lunch at point depending on weather, could have lunch in Picton.

Looks super. It's been a while since I've been out that way. I've been to Long Point and Sandbanks quite a few times before. Loved it.

I'm marking it off on my calendar right now, but will confirm 1 week before if that's ok.

BTW, great logistics!

Where is the trail system map from if I may ask?

and it isn't bad for dail up

it is a good tool

it is basically what the "backroad mapbook" creators have used
basically satellite imagery is analyzed to view the hard pack road areas
