Some folks I know did run the trail anyway, and it seems lots of people do. They say although there is a municipal rule against it, police cannot do anything unless you cross the public path (like getting on the trail from the street). So if you enter by the other end which is not on their teritory, your good to go. Only thing is, it is merely a road of sand that a car could possibly do apart from 2 mud pound where it seems everyone gets dirty (the truck I mean...) no rocks or technical pass... I might visit some day, but I prefer rocks on my way !!
