Trail run for newbies
Hey Guys,
I stopped over at Scott's place to checkout the new trail they have out there and spoke to him about it.
The course looks great, a bit of everything. He says it takes about 90 min to be instructed through all the various obstacles designed to teach how to tackle different things and how the different jeep models actually works (i.e. lockers on rubi, vice traction assistance from ABS etc on other models) and the way best to use/drive those different models.
I am heading out there this Sat, being the first time that they are running the course.
I saw 'Tunes" getting stuck and had to be winched across one of the obstacles which was great to see how that "should" be done safely.
Anyway, anyone wanting to learn a few things about their JK, or see if they can get threw "the pit", or just wanting come out and meet some great people. head out Sat to the Trenton area.
PM me for directions or visit the jkjam(dot)ca website for a map and directions and all the info about it.
And I guess it's for a good cause too. They are volunteering their time for donations to the Cancer society

I will check, but I think it is an afternoon thing so Scott is expecting people anytime after 12.
If I hear different, I'll let you know.
Just texted Scott, he recommends being there by 2 so you get enough time to play on the course after the initial walkthrough.

The Course has just received yet another addition. A choice of three very different and challenging obstacles to exit the course through (with the option of immediately going back to try one of the others).
Hope to see you there,
Rob
