Default Valve Stems

Stealership wants 70 plus dollars to replace the valve stems on the rubicon (each), due to the TPMS, and that is just for the parts. I put regular stems (for under 20 bucks) in and will put up with the tpms light being on for the time being. I took the existing stems that were chewed up and noticed that unlike most tpms, the stem is atually a seperate and removable part. I just need to find out where i can buy the stem only. The tire shop I went to had some replacement parts for these items, but not that particular valve stem peice.

I am going to look around and see if I can find the stem portion only. I'll have to get some photos and show everyone what I mean.

all and all a pretty cheap repair.

Cheers

Get a tire shop to reset you computer to tpms to 0. Then the warning light will go away.

Marc, just get the AEV Procal and call it a day.....by the time you replace 2 stems you could have one of them....they arent pricey
