We won't be able to make this one unfortunately. We'll be in Algonquin collecting reference photos for our "Ontario Parks" photo collection (soon to be a table book hopefully).
I wish we could be there to assist with the large water crossing.
The view from the hill prior to (or after depending which way you are travelling) is quite good and worth a stop for some photos.
The large water crossing itself is quite intimidating.
Stay in the EXACT middle....if you dont, you will go well below your capable depth and be screwed.....plus you'll roll over onto your side into a bog.
Here's some reference videos:
1. Watch as my Jeep tips to the left about half way through, and suddenly gets much deeper....use caution here.

2. In car footage of the EXACT centre line.....follow this route
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YNXX_GwmhR4
3. Photo slideshow of one our testing days there when we first got the JK's
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZELve...eature=related
Any questions just ask away.
The water is quite wide. According to my source up there, the crossing is longer than in the videos because of the rain, but only about 4 inches deeper than in the videos.
Stay to the middle and you should be fine.
