We need another run soon
It is too bad Wayne isnt coming. He would get stuck and we could just drive over him.
Mudterror, you coming or will you drive halfway there and realise you left your garage door or something?

Really guys, I'm not trying to syke you out.
I'm just being real about this. It is alot of water and there have been some unlucky crossers here.
Sometime its down, sometimes its up.
In that "Jeep Fishing" video, the water levels were actually quite a bit lower than usual. I'm really not kidding.
Look at that video again. At the begining look how much the water is receded back. You can tell by the long muddy track to the edge.
While the Jeep is in the water look at the reed growing on the edge.....you can see where the REGULAR water line is. At least 6-8 inches higher than the level of the water.
Check this video out of these "Good ol' boys" doing their thing there, you got Cherokees with 4" lifts and 35's going through and its almost over their hood.
Water crossing starts around the 7 minute mark:

Just trying to keep you guys aware and trying to help as we can't be there.

take photos only at water crossing as if we made it though and no one will know.
there is also Lavant look out
so lingham lake rd is an actual road it shows up on my road gps
Yeah if you go in from the other end, the water crossing is near to the end, so you'll get a good long trail run in....and its well worth it, its an easy trail but its nice.
Ompah is around there, Greens Mountain, Black Lake, Shoe Lake, Concession Lake, Scotch Line, Iron River, Picard Lake (The rest of it), plus many many many many more....
Also there are logging and fire roads galore in the WHOLE area....not hard to find on a GPS unit.....
Go from the far end of Lingham though, you'll get a good trail run in then you can decide on the water when you get to it.
When you get to the far side after a long twisty gravel road, you will see a sign with big red letters saying "Private Land Please stay on Trail" and "Please take litter with you" please respect those signs, but also carry on straight past those signs.
Do not turn left down the side trail near the signs.....you will end up in a giant mud hole called "Johnsons Hole" or something like that, that professional mud bogging machines with 8 inch lifts and 40+ mudder tires have a hard time with.
Just follow the power line.
Plenty of options around there though guys, just pop out your backroads map books "Algonquin" or "Cottage Country" editions and take a look around.
Really sorry I can't be there to help with this guys, I've been to this trail frequently, but only crossed the water a few times.
We had a Land Rover with us once, when he crossed firstthe water was over his hood and up against the windshield, he stalled out but was able to start it back up....4 TIMES!!!! but he made it through.....that, if anything, was a testament to the Land Rovers toughness.....incredible.
Anyway, no sense in being freaked out, it may be fine.....but take the long way in, the other crossing there are nothing to be worried about, and when you get to the big one, you'll know. Stop, take a look at it.
Scott, with your snorkel you can just roll straight in head through and update everyone via radio......RECON!!
