hey guys, I've been watching this thred for while cause I wanted to come out since I've never done any wheelin, but I had a birthday party to go to. Looks like you guys had alot of fun. Quick question would a rear recovery point be a must have for something like this? I have a sahara with a tow hitch and I've seen inserts with d-rigs. Just wanted to if I should buy one b4 i do any wheelin?

 

Your Sahara should have tow hooks on the front right?

If you have a trailer hitch in the rear then all you need is a recovery strap and use the tow hook pin to hold it into the receiver until you get a hook.
Thats what I do, but mine came with a tow hook on the rear as well as the trailer hitch.

Princess auto carries recovery straps. thats all you really need if you are going out with others.

cool never thought about just using a pin and a strap, thankx. I already have a few straps, I work in heavy construction and somehow some straps got missplaced at work.
