Habaneros
Made hash browns this weekend, twice. Used olive oil and sauteed sliced habanero pepper seeded and deveined, chopped onions, clove of garlic, coarse ground black pepper, kosher salt and obviously mixed in with hash browns, with a couple easy over eggs.
Wife thought it was evul. lol. 1st one yesterday was ok since the peppers were green and not too much heat. Then I used my orange peppers today. Better flavor but way too hot for her.
BTW I have been making stuffed Roma tomato's. Seeds removed, creamed cream cheese with Basil, oregano, and chives mixed in. All from the garden. Then I added either shrimp or Habanero ( orange and HOT), very good. Substituted tarragon for chives on one batch.
With all the tomato's coming in I am going to have some real fun.

I love hot & spicy food

Thanks. I also have lots of Habanero's coming in. (plus various other perppers)
Lots of experiments coming.
Here is a recipe for Jalapeno's. Slice the top half vertically, remove seeds and veins. Insert chream chees, parmesan chees with a shrimp, or something. Wrap the whole Jalapeno with a thin bacon strip, in a spiral then "pin", and roast the whole thing till bacon is crisp.

Paprika
Any good hot pepper can be made in to paprika. Air dry, remove seads, and membrane. Use a coffie grinder to powder the peppers.
BTW do this OUTSIDE or you will have a cloud of hot dust in the air!
It's great for heating up about anything.

It's a great way to have powdered peppers to use year round, but Paprika is Paprika. The sweetest ones come from Hungary, they also have a hot version, and it ranks right up there with the best.
