Great info!! You will love your JK. I have had mine less than a week and sometimes I have to hold myself back from just going and sitting in it for a while!

Which dealer in Brissie did you get yours from Aussie.
I have not been finding them too helpful or knowledgable.

Call the nearest dealer(s) to see what they have in stock.

These are the Qld dealers according to the jeep.com.au website

Albion: www.chryslerjeep.com.au

Tweed: www.tweedautomotive.com.au

Bundy: Bundaberg Prestige 07 4151 1923

Holland Park: Leo Muller Chrysler Jeep 07 3243 7766

Redcliffe: www.qldjeep.com.au

There are a few other dealers, but we are talking Cairns and a few other out of the way places.

Yeah, I know which ones are out there,
I just get the cold shoulder when looking at them.

Its seems that unless I have a huge wad of money on me they dont wanna know me.

I'm hoping Aussie had a better expereince with someone.

I bought mine from SVM in Chatswood and they were excellent and I don;t look like I have a wad of money... ancient goth girl here. Just walk in again and make sure you have a good mind set that you are going to get what you want. Makes a difference! My car was originally ordered through Lincorp at Parramatta which was THE WORST experience, basically, all I got was salesman bullsh!t. I asked where my car was and they said they had one for me and they would ring me when it was ready... I found out that they DIDN'T have a car as it was (and still is) sitting in the middle of the ocean on a ship! This had blown the contract date. So, I am waiting for my deposit back...

Go in and demand (nicely) that you get some service!

VR - the are a few Aussies lurking but you will find more Australian applicable info at www.ausjeepoffroad.com

For JK accessories give Wooders from 'Wooders Garage' a ring - www.wooders.com.au he's in Sydney.

I still own a TJ and with around $30K in accessories added I'll be keeping it for a while as I'll never get any of it back. The one draw card the JK has for me is the higher tow capacity, but it still isn't a big enough insentive to upgrade.

I know how you feel. We spent 1 entire day trying to buy a Jk. I have never worked so hard to buy something

The only person who seemed to want to do a deal and had any knowledge (Not that he was a expert) was the sales manager at Tweed Jeep.

We have ordered our 4DR Renegade manual CRD in black about 3-4 weeks ago and have been told its on the water and only a week or so away

Give them a try...

Hi Chili

I have some accessories on order with David Woodley (Wooders).

This is my first Jeep and in fact my first new car and first 4WD, so there is a lot I need to work out but so far I have had fun. I am hoping to get a few Aussie people together with JK's as parts and accessories are so hard to find here and it is great to hear from others in the same part of the world.

I had a similar problem with Lincorp down here in Sydney, all I got was bull shi!t and it wasn't until I put the thumb screws on that I found out that my ordered Jeep was on a boat. They would not tell me until I got narky. They promised a Jeep in 2 weeks and blew it out to 5 weeks. So I rang a dealer that was closer, they had what I wanted on the showroom floor and I told Lincorp where they could go.

I have had my Jeep for a shade over one week and I loooooooooooooove it!

I was told that expected delivery date for boats on the water is around 11th July.
