AEV 3.5" or Teraflex 3"-4" LCG system ? Differences
Also, since the rear arms on the TeraFlex are adjustable, you can have your rear axle set back a little.
I have the AEV 4.5in and 37s. Very little rubbing even after cutting, but I have some buddies with the LCG kit and they can really out-wheel me in the rocks and deep ruts. Super flexy (the LCG kit) and very capable.
Different story on the roads and highway though.
In my opinion, the AEV kit is a great do-it-all lift for the money and that's why I bought it.

The teraflex is built for rock crawling or similar use. You have more articulation.
The extra "stuff" you get with the teraflex is what gives you the suspension articulation...this is the price difference.
The AEV uses brackets to add the height and keep the factory suspension travel.
Two great lifts, two different purposes.

I'll be buying my TF Elite LCG 3" LA kit (2-door) tomorrow. It's pretty much a complete kit, but I'll probably need drive shafts eventually if I plan on doing some serious wheeling (which I do). That's about the only "add-on" you'd need.

I just installed the AEV 4.5 Premium and 35s, there is nothing more to do. The on road handling is as good if not better, don't know off road yet, but did flex it a bit behind the shop and worked well. I'll do some heavy wheeling, but not heavy rock climbing and I'll load the JK up with camping supplies and whatnot and not worry about suspension sag or ride quality degradation.
This was the best choice for me and my offroad/onroad needs. AEV is a complete package.
