Kudos to you and your wife for some great pics! I'll be picking up a cam to leave in the glove for future occasions!
Had a great day..
First off who ever had the idea of a black friday run is the smartest man in a JK..let the boys get out while the wives go and get pepper sprayed at the sales....unless you need new tools and sears is rocking 50% tool deals at 4am!
So day started at 3am, showering and driving to sears...got in line with the rest of the materialistic Americans at 345 AM! Grabbed a few tools from the shelfs and got out of that mad house...20mins in and out! and wasn't stabbed or peppered...wheew good morning so far..
Drove up to RC..i was "that guy" who shows up first...but then another jeepr showed up (lost the name in the whole mix of things) but we re-spooled my winch and stood by as others showed up. As drivers showed up, they would hop out..say hi and then start working on rig..most where just taking off Sway bar links, and air'in down, I helped one jeeper take off his Sarah steps( with the disclaimer of "if something will get bashed, is it ok that its the body and not your step (that can be replaced?)) off it went, I was having issues with my JKS SS relocation bracket (as it doesn't mate up with bilstine SS, but i have new bushing on the way from summit to fix that) so i took off my SS for a day of wheeling with out it....
More and more started popping up..by the end i counted 26 rigs (but then i suck at math) around 915ish we got the call to gather up front...we got in to our grps, beg. 101's Greens, blues/blacks, and Who wants to fallow Pirate Kitty to your death, grps. I saw PK's rig and decided to hop in to the blues/blacks...and i am still working on hunting down an oil pan skid (lets go EVO get hot!) but i think i can take her little stock jeep next outing...game on!
we took off for a day of fun in the sun...really nice day..warm around 50ish with sun out whole time, mud was not to bad after the weekish of rain before, had nice water holes and made a few area's "fun" that would normally be a boring section. Our grp ran around on blues with some black jaunts, i think we had 3 of the 5 make pizza rock(does winching count, sorry had to put that in there) and 3 make yellow jacket...
SO over all a great day to meet fellow JK'ers and get out in the sun..
Huge thanks for all the Grp Leaders! some i know took lower trails then they normally due for the good of the grp. so thanks again for helping out..and we saw the 101 grp once and it looked like their Grp leader was on point, out of the truck spotting and teaching the newer guys on the trail they where on! Great work!

Gave the jeep a thorough look over. Skids were heavily worked for sure. Did see diff fluid leaking front and rear, and found ~4bolts on both, were loose (one bolt was even finger loose!). I guess I should have checked that before leaving (got lucky!).
New engine fluids, diff oil, and some blasts of flat black rusto - and i'm good for next time!
