I'm trusting the forum with my JK. I need a driver to drive my JK from Fayetteville to OBX. Manteo or Avon which is about an hour south on NC 12 towards Hatteras. I'll pitch in some cash for food and drinks for the 5 1/2 hour drive from my house. But I've got to be cheap so no Red Lobster or Outback please. I'm assigned at the OBX for the summer and hate not having my ride. An since I just bought my wife her own Jk it's time for mine to hit the beach. I'm headed back Thursday with the work car so anytime really works for me. The sooner the better. I'm would like it if I was someone already on there way there on vacation or other. That would solve the whole ride back problem once you get there. I won't be able to provide gas for a chase car. However, if your not crazy nuts and are not running from the law I might be able to help out on a place to stay for a day or three. (Not much and crowded, but lots of fun)

 

I can't believe there is not a JK'er out there that is not going to the OBX this weekend. Anyone going north from Fayetteville would be PERFECT I've got trans for next weekend but I now need my JK full on stuff this weekend when the family comes for 10 days. That is alot of days with 4 kids (3 are mine and 1 nephew) and no boogy boards, sand toys, mini grill for the 4 wheel drive beach , board games the list go on and on. An of course beer. Let's add a case of beer to the offer. It's Corona ( sorry Light ) but free upon delivery of one Rescue Green JK full of beach crap. Only two seats not full of stuff. Gotta know by Thursday afternoon. I got to leave at 7:30 and the rest after 5. It will be at the house with the keys in it. Trusting I know however I've got connections.

god i wish this was a week ago... i JUST got back on saturday from a week there. And i was in Hatteras which is past Buxton, which is past Avon.


I'd be willing... but not sure how i'd get back tho... damn... really wish my gf had a driver's license right now. She wanted to go with me to the beach last week but couldn't, and now here's a chance...

 

I am coming down next weekend but I don't come down through Fayetteville. I am even coming to Avon gotta do my food shopping at Food Lion. Sorry I wish I could help you.

i keep telling her that... but she say's she has no reason to right now... all it would take is for her to go to the MVA and renew it. THAT'S IT!

 

Thanks for the reply's yall sorry about the delay on responce. My freaken crackberry internet went down. Got a friend driving up on Friday but I just wanted it now. Bought my wife her own JK so I got my fix a little bit but not the same as your own ride. Any takers for monday thru wednesday the beer is still yours. Jeff
