Default East Coast Hemi Swap

Does anyone know of a shop that does Hemi swaps on the East Coast? I live in NJ and I think the closest place is Burnsville in MN but I could be wrong.

I contacted them, I'm waiting for an answer. I asked how much they charge(its $12k for a TJ swap) and why it has an '04 engine swap(unless thats just for the tj's) instead of a newer one.

OK 4WD in NJ is a big AEV dealer and I think they have done a few swaps, I talked to them about it last year. AEV themselves are based out of Michigan which is closer too.

Oh I'd love to see how much OK4WD would charge for a hemi swap, cuz they charge $1950 for gear swap

I was just quoted 1500 for gear swap from OK4WD just two weeks ago, by the guy who has the 07 Rubi Unllimited. Wonder why there was 25 percent difference in quote.

Chris they may have changed in these economic times but a year and half ago they wouldnt install gears or any part unless you bought from them

Pagoda thats a HUGE price reduction, and thats not only a quote I got but there are members here on this forum that paid that much, ask Boots. I wish I did have them do mine though I actually would have saved money, because I had to have mine done a 2nd time after 1800 miles, lets just say Kryptonite customs sucks!!

I'm not ready for it yet! I still have to get my JK. I am getting an unlimited at the end of the year and I know its gonna need more power. I could deal with my 2dr and 35's, but a 4 door with 37's that 3.8 just isnt gonna cut it! I would get the s/c but if jerzeyjeep is willing to help and I wouldnt have to pay for a professional install, that would make the cost of the Hemi swap more phesable.(not that I wouldnt pay him for his help) I wouldnt mind taking you up on that offer but it wouldnt be for at least another year.
