Default East Coast to Moab

Hey All,

Looks like Moab is creeping right up on us, (can't wait) anyway the wife and I are pulling of of NJ either on Apr 2nd or 3rd. We will be running out the Pa turnpike to Rt70 west. Then Rt70 to Colorado and down to Rt50 (weather permitting) and then back to Rt70 into Moab.

If anyone would be interested in hooking up anywhere along the way please chime in.

The wife and I are leaving on the 3rd from Havertown PA, I haven't figured out where we are stopping at yet but would like to hook up if possible. I am trying to make it there by Sunday so we will be pushing hard.

Yes, you guy's will be running hard. It's like 2100 miles (2270 miles the way I was going to run out) from the Pa/NJ border to Moab, Ut.

Any chance on you's pulling out on Thur. the 2nd ?

PM sent.........

Thanks, Hope we will run into each other again.

A little cold, damn cold I thought. But then again, anything under 70 is cold to me.

Checking with the wife's work schedule, I will let you know if we can pull out on the second. The short trip on 50 sounds nice. Any idea what 24 and 50 are like? Any chance of them being closed due to weather?

Parts of Rt50 and Rt24 are something like Rt611 up along the Delaware river, other parts are more like Rt22 up along Allentown area.....

From what others have said most of Rt50 should be oopen with Monarch Pass being the one to worry about. I do have a Colorado State web-site that is on the wifes Laptop. Can check it as we get closer to Limon, Co.
