Green Ridge Trail Run 04-26-08
Howdy folks. My club is heading to Greenridge State Forest again on the 26th. This is the only place in Maryland that is legally open to wheeling for free. Its not a challanging trail, its more of a scenic run, and for the mud lovers. So if anyone wants to come out for the day, you are more then welcome to. We have 2 meeting spots planed:
For those coming from areas east and/or south of Frederick MD, we will meet at the Maryland Welcome Center at the South Mountain rest area just west of Frederick on I-70 Saturday morning between 8:00 and 8:30 with plans to pull out no later than 8:45. Folks coming from further west may prefer to meet us at Sideling Hill Center on I-68. Estimated time of arrival at Sideling Hill is about 9:45.
Sideling Hill Interpretive Center. This facility is located on I-68, approximately 10 miles west of Hancock in Washington County, Maryland. The Site offers spectacular views and geologic history of the Sideling Hill Cut. The interpretive center, located along the westbound roadway is connected to parking and restrooms for eastbound traffic by a pedestrian bridge. Ph. (301) 678-5442.

how did it end last week... or do i want to know? which meet spot are you guys going to be at so that we don't leave ya behind?its ok, its all good now.

Well i last week the 18 mile loop was closed because a man on an ATV had a heart attack and died.
we are going to meet at the welcome center, i may not make it becuase i have to stand a super watch that day(stupid navy thing) but steve will be there with another guy.
yikes. that sucks. well hopefully you can make it and your shift isn't busy so that you won't be completely worn out.
erm... guess that sucks... did they flat out cancel the wedding or did you just find out that you didnt have to go? not to be too nosy, just curious. but eitherway, see ya saturday morning @ 8
