From what I've heard, Shoe Creek doesn't close.

Cool :-) I'll check what's going on that weekend. If I can make it, I'd only be able to do Saturday. I've been itching to get back out on the trail.

Its a little south of Charlottesville. Its something a stock rig can handle. I believe there are a few obstacles to have fun with and a few minor water crossings.

You can drive around the obstacles, but the only real challenging one is Slick Rock. I hope you decide to come.
