There are really no places besides the beach to wheel on long island. im sure if you are home for a couple of days we could throw together a trip to Rausch Creek with some other long island guys.
Hey thanks. I didn't think there was anywhere else to wheel on LI. I haven't been to Rausch creek so I would definatly be down for that, how is it as far as difficulty goes? I am a total noob to trails.

Rausch is awesome. its about a 4 hour drive give or take time for traffic. As for the difficulty levels there are labeled trails that go by difficulty- green are easiest the blue then black, etc.
Sweet jeep by the way, those 35s and the lift will help you out a bunch at rausch

well the JK's have a lot of undercarriage protection. i took my bone stock x there twice when i still had the little 225 street tires and 16" steelies yea it scraped haha but thats why the skid plates are there hahah. we also had a bone stock cj in my 4x4 club running blues with zero protection and that thing did amazing, so youll be fine. you will most likely scratch your pretty rims though

let us know the next time you will be home and im sure we can set up a trip

I was at RC bone stock for the first time with pretty much all lifted trucks... we took some decent trails and all day I heard CLANG... but it was ok... I dont know if the rubi has any more protection then the X's skidd wise...

Side note...

MY MOTHER F'ing RIMS CAME AND THEY ARE FREAKING HUGE!!!!!
550lbs on a flat... 5 rims and tires... I have the daystar bump stop extenders but I am going to need to cut them for the tailgate I guess...

I also want to cut the posts on the damn center caps if I can but I need more info on that hahahaha

but wow they are freaking SWEEEET looking... and jesus they are HUGE!!!
