Does anyone around here use Amsoil in their manual tranny? I just rolled over 30k so I'm changing all of my fluids and I'm thinking about switching the tranny to Amsoil but I'm having trouble finding it locally. Any ideas?

I've looked in a couple parts stores and looked online for a lot of them and haven't had any luck. I was trying to avoid ordering online of i could to save on shipping, but i might have to resort to that or just use something else. I haven't actually asked the dealer about the Mopar fluid but from what i hear, it would end up being about the same cost for that as it would be to buy something else and pay for shipping.

I just did it last week with pensoil synchromesh. Make sure you get 3 qts. You need about 2.25.

Thanks guys. I gave up with the amsoil. Found Pennzoil at pep boys and they happened to have exactly 3 qts in stock so I went with that. I heard some people had a decrease in the rough shifting between first and second with amsoil but I guess i'll try that another time.
