Default dates for the meet

ok since no one else wants to set dates how about Jan. 21st or the 22nd?????????

lets put it up for a vote and which ever one wins wins and is when we go i want to make sure everyone agrees on it and we get as many ppl as we can. bonedoc said, Raush Creek is the best place to go so why not. i dont know the area and not sure if its a place you pay for. if anyone thinks of a place that is better throw in your request and we can figure out where to go.

i will be taking my family with me to who never been off roading and do not know what a jeep can do so i want to make sure it is still hard but at the same time some thing that a stock rubi can do or have pass routes where if someone cant do it or doesnt want to do it they dont have too. as for my taste there has not been anything thrown in my why i havent did or at least tried to do. i see a jeep as a toy and you should push it to the limits and if you break it then its time to buy more parts and toys for it that are stronger and better for it anyway.

to all that do come thank you for allowing me to meet you. so lets get this thing rolling as time is coming up fast and i want to see what the east coast has in store for me....

I might be down for a mid-winter Rausch run. We may have to stick to the green trails if there are any stock guys coming along, especially if there is snow on the ground. In mid Jan., there's a pretty good chance that there will be. I can't recall many blue trails that have green bypasses.

Cabela's has a huge parking lot and there are several restaurant/bars nearby where we could all grab a bite and a pint.
I don't know that area real well so if anyone else has a suggestion let me know. Then we can set a date.
The other thing is that the jeeper that contacted me, OFP4LIFE, also asked about a run so if anyone has suggestions there we could get that going also.
The peanut bar in port clinton right up the street is good. Great food. HUGE cheese steaks and fries, nice bar.
Also I wouldn't be able to make the 21 or 22 in january unless I request off work. But I'm off for my birthday on the 23rd

looks like it'd be about 2 hrs for me, so I'd be in depending on work schedule.

I have stock 12 JKUR, got banged around a lot on just greens at Rausch. It's a great place but very rocky and without any lift, I'd expect some beating up. I'm pretty much a newb, but I had lots of good spotting and I'm a decent driver. I left thinking I can't wait to come back, but not without some lift.

why dont you get yourself a budget boost its quick and easy and very cheap. then when your ready to buy a better lift you can. depending on this tax return i might be up grading my lift

Well I'd really like to get what I plan on getting instead of spending more buying multiple versions, but maybe I will!

Been waiting on aev to release their new 2.5" coil lift before I pull the trigger. Plan on 37's and hopefully no bl. I want to be low and wide. And if the wife and I do move to Kentucky... No fender laws baby!
