You can get a hotel for discounted rate. One of them is Rausch friendly and year round discount. Let me find out which one it is.

Comfort Inn 570.345.8031 Mention Rausch Creek and the room rate is $60.50 a night plus Tax.
Hampton Inn 570.345.4505 (A nicer hotel brought to my attention by my mentor,UGOTKERN) Mention Jeep JK and it is $65 a night plus tax

dammit chris, now you have me considering the hotel! i dunno, i think i might still camp if i stay. i've never camped at rausch and i love camping in cool weather. then again, a hotel sounds mighty nice if it's gunna be rainy and nasty out. i guess time (and the weatherman) will tell. thanks for the heads up on the discounts tho

No problem, I know my old lady would rather have a cozy bed to sleep in than a campfire and the stars.

Let us know which hotel you all pick. The princess (I mean wife) doesn't like to camp in cold weather either.
Oh Chris should we tow a Port-O-Potty for the girls this time. LOL

if i do a hotel i'm doing the hampton. i did the comfort inn my first time at rausch and while it wasn't bad, i liked the hampton much better after staying there the next time i went up. i've stayed there every time since too. of course, if everybody swings for the comfort i guess i'd wind up doing the same. hotel hangouts are half the fun of going up there
