I'm not that far away from there either, but a little further from Mecklenburg County. Like, a couple counties away (Spartanburg).

Have you talked to any clubs in the area? I've seen a couple XJs in the Ballantyne area with C.O.R.E stickers but haven't seen anyone in person to talk to yet.

Bryan.
Don't consider all the ones you see local we were up there not too long ago on a band trip with my daughter. I have to say I am well traveled with over 10,000 miles on mine since mid-January.

Ok I am from North Carolina, so I had Fort Fisher/Carolina Beach and the Outer Banks as ORV beaches. Are there any in South Carolina?

Nope. No driving on the beach here. I know it sucks because that is fun. You have to look for mud holes and such in this area. Unless you know a land owner it's hard to find places. Mid-Upstate there are some places bt none officially around here that I know of. That said we are close to Francis Marion National Forest and the forest roads get bad when it's wet as do those on the WMAs so start looking there.

Actually, I'm in Ballantyne/Pineville. The developer of my subdivision screwed up and so my street goes into SC before entering back into NC right before my house. Most of my cul-de-sac is in SC (the beginning) while the rest of us at the end are in NC.

I saw a Rescue Green Sahara Unlimited the other day with SC tags. The lady driving wasn't much into "talking Jeep."

I had a couple from Wisconsin in another RG X waving like crazy when I pulled up next to them on I-485!! I love to see that kind of enthusiasm.

in SC you need 2 rear facing mirrors.

that is what i have been told by law enforcement. that being said i have never nor any of my jeep friends ever been pulled over. i run both side mirrors on my tj, just because i can't stand not to have them.
