Hmm, did you get a name so I can pass it along to SLED when they pull me over for something else (like speeding on 185)?

I see Jeeps all over Charlotte Metro with doors off and NO mirrors running both NC & SC plates. Haven't seen one pulled over YET.

Personally, I'd relocate my mirrors. It's hard enough to avoid the dumba$$es on the road as it is. Not to mention that visibility out the rearview mirror is ridiculous!

Yeah, I am still looking for somewhere to go, I guess Francis Marion is only open to ATV's/Dirt Bikes. Oh well, I will be heading up to OBX soon hopefully.

Default mirrors

here is a quote from the SC Code of Laws:

SECTION 56-5-4990. Mirrors. [SC ST SEC 56-5-4990]

Every motor vehicle which is so constructed or loaded as to obstruct the driver's view to the rear thereof from the driver's position shall be equipped with a mirror so located as to reflect to the driver a view of the highway for a distance of at least two hundred feet to the rear of such vehicle.

Hello, I use to live at Lake Bowen, it was beautiful to see the mountains each morning. One of these days I may just move back down, there are great people down there and I could use a double bacon cheeseburger from the Beacon...

Thanks

When you find some let me know. I have been wanting to take the family out for a ride. I would love to do some offroading that would include geocaching but that may be too much to ask.

Upstate, Greenville here also! Good to see lots of Jeepers in the Carolina's! The wave seems to be okay with the JK's here, it's the CJ's that haven't accepted us yet, or the young Eastside kids that have no idea about the jeep wave.

Mutt, are you on the Eastside? I think I meet you at the four way stop lots?

I was parked on the roof of the Richardson garage last night with my unlimited. I've seen a few of them driving back and forth between the 'burg and g'vegas, but I've seen a lot more Hummers, and that makes me sad.

I think we need to have an impromptu meeting, say at the Beacon.

If you live in Clemson, Greenville becomes Greenvegas. Just like if you live in Maryville, TN, Knoxville becomes Knoxvegas. I'm not sure why we call it that, but we do.
