So what is open up there now (legally)? I was up in July and almost everything was barricaded or posted.

This was my first time up at stokes but from what I saw most of the main roads that I went down were open but almost all of the side trails had signs posted that said do not enter. I think I started on Tillman rd then made my way down brook rd onto mountain rd to buttermilk falls then continued down hitting some of the side trails and mud holes on the way. I'm sure I went down some of the other roads to but I was just exploring and wasn't really paying much attention to where I was going. I was there for a couple hours and still didn't even have time to see everything but had lots of fun.

Brook and Mountain were never closed. The ones I'm thinking of are the high trails off Struble (Coss, Dimon, etc).

I was just up there today not sure of all the roads but ended up going down Struble and Tilman hit some mud holes one big one by Flatbrook it was a fun day found a couple of un- posted roads or the signs were gone was a great day and can't wait to go back there are some offshoots but they are tight not marked either... Did not see any Rangers was respectful of the grounds... Not that I plan of going on a posted road but what's the penalty if you do ????
