Help plan my trip
Hey East coasters,
I would like any input on a trip I am planing with my girfriend for the end of may-ish. We live in Toronto and want to drive out east, enjoy some nice scenery and stop in some nice spots. we will have about 10 days for the trip.
I think we want to go up the Quebec way and not through the States. Go through New Brunswick, PEI and Nova Scotia. We dont know at all where we want to go other than that, or where we should go.
We will be camping for most of it, or all of it.
What we want help with is recommendations of towns to visit, camp sites that are good, routes that have great scenery. basically anything you guys think would be fun.
Thanks for your help in advance.

Ive done this trip a few times.
You definitely want to do the Cabot trail in Cape Breton.
I would even say hit the Gaspe peninsula going or coming back if you can, and do the loop around PEI by crossing the bridge and the leaving Via the ferry on your way to Cape Breton.
I have lived about half my life on the east coast, mostly in Nova Scotia and Pei, and I have done that trip on Motorcycle car, and Jeep whenever Im living in Ontario.
Now that I'vwe settled down with Rox from PEI, it looks like I will just be driving sdtraight there for the next 7 or 8 years till we move there for good.
Maybe then we will vacation to other places

Check out the two links below and request that they send you travel guides. The travel guides are typically great with schedules of different events.
I would suggest anything along the New Brunswick Coast on the Bay of Fundy. You have to go and visit the highest tides in the world, just be careful where you park. I have a picture of my JK parked on a ramp down to the water, 3 hours later my Jeep would have been completely under water if I hadn't moved it.

Those tides could be a lot of trouble. I'll check them out for sure.
Great links, thanks for helping out. I like how the tourism new brunswick site has a picture of a jeep road trip section.
We have a lot of travel guides that were send to us. My girlfriend works in a big hotel chain so she had some connections out east send us some stuff. It also helps if we decide to take a night off camping and want to stay in a hotel for the night.
