Maritime JKers
Had an emergency c section and our son was born at 11:13pm. Moms ok but sore. The boy is as strong as they get. Lifts his own head and all. My god it's tiring sitting here. Were both beyond exhausted. Goodnight folks.
The nurses let me sleep until noon. I'm so appreciative, I'd been up since 6 am yesterday except for 4 hours of sleep.
When I got up with the baby this morning at 430 I felt like I was coming off a bender. I was so tired I was shaking from head to foot, had no balance, and was nauseated to high hell.

Yea its much better. The hospital has got to be the worst environment to care for a child in ever. I think it's that a person has no space, just that little tiny room.
He has his nights and days mixed up but it's getting better. If we wake him, like the hospital wants us to, so he can feed every 2 hours life is miserable. If he sleeps about 3 hours between feeding he is the best baby you could imagine. So were gonna disregard the hospitals instructions. He does not want to be fed when he's woke anyway, so it takes forever to feed and he gets even crankier.
Here's a picture of momma and Aedan together for the first time.

Ya man, everyone has a different opinion, I agree with you, go with the baby let the baby tell you when he's hungry. Our new one just started sleeping thru the night, she only wanted 2 oz bottles at a time, so we had to do it, we think she might have a little acid reflux like our firstborn. The way I see it the baby knows when he/ she is hungry and will let you know so let them sleep.
Congrats again there Mike
... really it's like Mike says... whatever works for you and the baby... what may work for one may not work for another and there are NO MANUALS!!! (trust me I looked lmao) Although I did find out one thing when my kids were first born..... if Momma ain't happy... ain't NOBODY happy lol.
I was wondering his name... Aedan.... very nice.... and Momma seems pretty happy too (does she know about your Jeep addiciton
)

How is everyone? Anything new going on?
New mods, wheelin trips, etc...?
Just checkin in to see what's up.
I've been out playing on the pipeline with Sean... funtimes and we plan on doing it again a couple more times this week.

I purchased something new for the JK. I will just quote what I wrote on the NSJC board.
With the topless run this weekend I wanted a cage type enclosure to put on the back of the JK to A) prevent branches and other things from swinging in the Jeep and B) prevent Miss Bella Girl from falling out.
After doing a lot of research on many different manufacturers I finally ordered them direct from Safari Straps in California. I ordered them on line through their website and had a few issues during the ordering process. I phoned them and spoke with someone and soon found that Safari Straps was a small family business with approximately 6 employees, they were very pleasant to deal with and I soon found out that customer service was their number one goal. I placed my order a week ago last Thursday night, the next Friday my Safari Straps were made for my order and a week ago Monday they were shipped out via UPS, they arrived today. The stitching and attention to detail is excellent, very durable and I know they will stand up to the test of time well.
Thanks Rob for the extra set of hands installing it, it was quite Simple really.
