Well the season is here so I figured we'd start seeing who's available and when we could possibly get together to do it.... hopefully it won't take a year to plan this one

Daytime or night run?

Possible dates:

Sat Feb 5th after 4pm.... night run?

Sat Feb 19th 12:30pm... afternoon run?

Will look at Mar if necessary.

 

Id be up for it in March. I think if I left now to go jeeping I might as well take my shit with me and apartment shop on the way home lol.

I can do runs during the week as well if it's helpful and can do a couple runs if everyone can't make it.

 

i'm pretty much good for anytime, just waiting to see what other people have available.

 

I'm pretty much available as well, less anything unexpected.
Looking forward to doing the trail with some snow. Let's see what others can do
and I'll do what I can do to be there. I'm a big fan of weekend runs
where possible.

Rick, Kurt and myself so far can do this.... like I said can do 2 runs if interest is there.

Come on guys, ask the women for a kitchen pass. Maybe not this weekend with V-Day coming up but, in a couple weeks time for sure.
For anyone who hasn't driven on a trail with deep snow, it's a totally different style of wheeling. It's a blast, all you need is patience and low gear.

I just started driving the jeep in deep snow this winter. What a blast!!
It's every bit as fun as crawling on the rocks. I don't recommend talking on your cellphone when do it... a good way to get stuck

We have winchs and straps, don't worry about getting stuck. You'll get you out.
No worries about damage or scratches. Not an issue for stock vehicles or better on this run.

 

How much snow are you guys seeing up there? We broke some drifts of 3 feet but a constant run in anything more then 16 or 18 inches and we'd get fouled up. If I remember that run right it's got snow potential for 2-3ft constant... Just askin.

 

There is a way to move through the deep stuff Mike..... have to come out and see how

As Kurt said..... patience, slow and low while breaking trail.... after that.... good to go. Although I did bury the 35's in the back yard yesterday and needed winch line help

Snow wheelin can be pretty fun if you just prepare yourself for some slow goin and a few stucks.... nothing wrong with being stuck... learn something each time

Also the deep hole Josh got in to probably will be filled up with ice and snow so no chance of him doing it again

 

Well dates have come and gone.....

Sean and I were out on it on Saturday... we had a blast! Took vids and laughed our asses off. Winter snow wheeling is a whole other animal!!!!

Gonna try one last time on here to get something going in approx 3-4 weeks time.... any interest?
